Golang Job: Systems Developer

iXsystems is a company specialized in storage solutions and is looking for a skilled Go lang developer to work in our single pane of glass product, using open source technologies.

Required Skills

• Able to create elegant, efficient, and testable code
• Proved experience writing Go language
• Solid understanding of Git version control
• Solid understanding of asynchronous and parallel programming
• Exposure to accessing REST and Websocket APIs
• Exposure to accessing databases (SQL, time series) and writing schema/data migrations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Solid understanding of UNIX Operating Systems (processes, memory, filesystem)
• Copy-on-write filesystem basic knowledge (ZFS)

Applicants should be comfortable working in a team environment and able to be responsive/proactive to tickets when assigned. Available to work during at least 5 hours of US Eastern Time business hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
